NFL Point Spread

If you have ever been in the market for an NFL bet, you are likely familiar with the term “point spread.” This term refers to the number of points a team has to win by. The amount of points can be minus or plus, depending on the sportsbook. For example, if you want to bet that the Dallas Cowboys will lose by more than seven points, you will have to wager more than seven times as much as you would if you wanted to bet that they will win by less than seven points.

A point spread is not always the best way to bet, however. Depending on the sportsbook, you might be better off making a moneyline bet. Moneyline bets are only available in the event that the team you bet on is not the favorite.

However, the +7 point spread isn’t a particularly uncommon feature in the NFL. In fact, it’s one of the most common. The +7 point spread is often referred to as the “teaser” line, because it makes it seem as though the game is closer than it really is.

As is the case with other sports, there are numerous variations to this particular spread. If you’re trying to find the best odds on your game, it’s a good idea to compare the sportsbooks before you make your final bet. Similarly, you should take the time to check out the OVER/UNDER totals as well. You can even find a market-setting sportsbook that will open up the market for you.
